Maternity photography beautifully celebrates and captures the woman you become by carrying a child, the changes your body will make to grow new life inside you and the emotions that pregnancy brings. Having a baby is an experience that changes you from the inside out because you get to fall in love with a bundle of joy that you don`t even know how it looks.
Why book a maternity photoshoot?
Expecting a baby is an exciting time for your family and a moment you want to remember and cherish forever. A maternity photoshoot allows you to capture this precious phase, celebrating the beauty of pregnancy and creating lasting memories.
When to book a maternity photo shoot?
You can book your maternity session after your second scan. The best time to take maternity photos is between 28-32 weeks of pregnancy. This period captures your beautiful baby bump at its best while ensuring you are still comfortable. Your partner and any children you may already have are welcome to join.
What happens before, during and after a photoshoot?
At the time of the booking, we will have a 30-minute consultation. It`s important to know how you want to be photographed, clothing options, preferred colours and backdrops. The maternity dresses presented on the website are available in my home studio. I created catalogues for dresses and backdrops to be easier to choose from.
We have 29 dresses and if you feel stuck in making choices you are more than welcome to come for a trial one week before your session and see which ones fit best. With all these details established in advance, we can ensure your photos will be exactly how you want them.
All maternity photography sessions will take place at my home-based studio in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. During the photo shoot, I will guide you all the way, and through posing, we will find the best shape for your body.
After the session, you can view and choose your favourite poses and expressions. As soon as I know your preferred photos, I will work my magic and beautifully enhance them. Then, around ten days later, you can view the final results. The turnaround for the printed images is about ten days from placing the order, and for the wall art please allow 2 months.
The final payment for the chosen package can be made at the end of the photoshoot in cash, bank transfer or cryptocurrency.

Booking a newborn photoshoot or ordering wall art after your maternity session is optional. If you opt for one or both, the amount will be deducted from your final payment if you choose the Gold package.
