When to book a cake smash session?
The ideal time to book a cake smash session is a few weeks before your child's birthday. This ensures you have the photos ready for the big day.
What happens before, during, and after a photoshoot?
After the booking is made you will have access to a guide that will help you prepare for your photography session and a backdrop catalogue from where you can easily pick your favourites. I have multiple colourful backgrounds, outfits and props, and you can choose the ones you like the most. If you want something simple, plain backdrops will be the best option. Do not worry if you don't find anything you like. Let me know what colour scheme or theme you have in mind, and let's create magic together.
When all your choices are made we can have a 30-minute consultation. I want to know as many details as possible. Planning everything will help us have a smooth and pleasant photography session.
The cake smash photoshoot will take place in my Hemel Hempstead home studio. The room is nice and warm so wear something comfortable.
Most of the time, the cake smash session will start with family pictures. The family images are the most important and will be cherished forever. Then, we continue photographing your child alone, we bring in the cake, and we will clean the sweet bits from the skin in a bubble bath.

Not so colourful / No cake? No problem!
We can still have a simple and fun birthday photoshoot with confetti. Kids will love it. Do you have any other ideas?
I would love to know.
After the session, you can view and choose your favourite images. As soon as I know which photos you like the most, I can beautifully enhance them. Then, around ten days later, you can view the final results. The turnaround for the printed images is about ten days from placing the order and for the wall art please allow 2 months.

The final payment for the chosen package can be made at the end of the session in cash or bank transfer.​
